The department of Religious Liberty disseminates the principles of Religious Liberty throughout the world. Religious Liberty defends and safeguards the civil rights of all people to worship, adopt a religion or belief of their choice, and to manifest their religious convictions in observance, promulgation, and teachings (subject only to the respect for the equivalent rights of others).

The Religious Liberty Department is charged with keeping City Tabernacle properly informed of Religious Liberty issues as they occur around the world. Our vision is to help the church family foster a sense of responsibility in supporting the efforts of the Religious Liberty Department and also to help develop a strong appreciation for the Freedom of Religion that we currently enjoy.
